Remember Hope

Finding hope isn’t always easy. When it feels like the world has gone out of it’s mind and we have no control, holding on to hope can take all that we have.

The last few years have been chaotic on so many fronts. It seems like the car has gone off the road and we are in a seemingly non-stop roll over. Like the ones in the movie. But I believe that eventually the roll over will come to a halt.

For me, the lack of social engagement, the constant stipulations on how to live life, the fear that so many people feel (and express), the confusion of information and lack of central leadership has been very trying. I know I’m not alone.

These years have damaged friendships and families. These years have set people back and even destroyed dreams. It’s been hard.

But I still have hope. I still am confident that we will push through. I still know that life will go on and we will normalize again. We will find our routines. We will find our connection to others.

My faith is what gives me hope. My faith in God and Jesus. It has been my rock and strengthened me not to live in fear. I am confident I will see more of the Lord’s goodness very soon
