Let’s Start New

 

I will admit that the 20s so far have been a little rough. Lot’s of challenges, lots of joys, lots of hardships and lots “dealing with it”. Maybe the 20s will follow the same wives tale of March…in like a lion, out like a lamb. Guess we will find out. 

This bible verse was my Bible app's daily devotional and how fitting in so many ways. 2021 was rough for most of us I think, but there were still some great things. Experiencing my daughter go from a helpless little baby to tornado toddler, words and all has definitely been the highlight, but even as great as that I know that there are greater things on the way. 

I have faith that good things are coming. Despite all the hard things that have been happening, I feel things will turn around. I know that God has things planned for me and many of you out there. I have faith that if we place our focus in the right direction (up) things will get better. 

We’ve been beaten down over the past years. Our world’s have been flipped upside down and we’ve lost control of so many things. My theory is we’ve placed trust in the wrong place. We started trusting ourselves over God. We started doing things that WE felt were right and that WE think is the way. Look where that got us. 

I hope that in 2022 we quit looking in the mirror for direction and answers. I hope in 2022 we start focusing on the teachings, ideas and values that made this country so great. That made other civilizations great…I hope that we start embracing the values that God has given us. Here’s to a better 2022, may we all find the way to our purpose and turn the world back around to the right direction.
