Harmony
Living in harmony is not really all that easy these days. There is lots of turmoil and opposing beliefs arguing on every communication platform created.
There are so many lines drawn in the sand or walls put up. There are people on one side who refuse to even be in the same space as those who disagree with them.
We view people in silos and think everyone is alike if they believe specific things, yet I think if we took the time to be civil we might find that despite the differences we can learn from each other, collaborate with each other and find compromise.
We should never be too proud of our ideologies, our beliefs or values to think any of us are better than someone. It’s the lack of respect for others’ differences and beliefs that is causing the problem.
I have a strong faith in Christianity and would love to see everyone understand it the way I do, but I know that won’t happen…it doesn’t mean I can’t be kind, help or listen to others.
It’s great to be bold in your belief, but you also need to accept not everyone has to agree with you.
