Encouragement

Encourage Those Around You

For me encouragement usually helps me know that I’m on the right path. I’m one to over-analyze things before I move on them. If I have time I will take my time to try to do it right. Doing it right is important to me, so when I get encouragement it emboldens my efforts.

I try to be encouraging to others. I need to be better. Most of the time I’m just in my own head trying to figure things out or in some deep thought. Other times I don’t know if that person would want encouragement.

I need to be better about this. When at the gym and I see someone who is out of shape but working at it, I think “I should tell them good job when I see them. Maybe it will help motivate them, “ but I don’t because I don’t want to be creepy.

But it probably wouldn’t come off that way. Working at Talent Plus we have a strong sense of encouragement for our peers. It’s practically a value. We encourage others and we help teach our clients to encourage and give appreciation. It makes a world of difference.

So today, I’m going to try to be more encouraging to my wife, daughter, niece, siblings, friends, co-workers and clients. I’m going to try to start letting it pour out of me naturally. I hope some of you go out and do the same.
